Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 紡織工程學系 === 87 === Conventional cellulose fiber process adds sulfuric compounds, subsequently causing environment pollution. It spends much time and the solvent is not easy to retrieve. Many countries have been working on the spinning technique of solution direct spun cellulose fibers. In this experiment, NMMO recollected as solvent, producing dope by the property of dissolving cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA). The blended proportions of cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)are 70/30 wt/wt、60/40 wt/wt and 50/50 wt/wt. The polymer blend is respectively put into a dry-wet spinning machine at 90℃. The blended fibers are passed through the processes of water washing and drying. In this paper, there is also a discussion of the structure and physical properties what are needed for this experiment. The results of this experiment shows following. SEM shows that the cross-section of fiber is nearly a circle. After the hot water washing, the surface and the cross-section are irregular. The tenacity shows that 50/50(wt/wt) is higher and 70/30(wt/wt) is lower. The results of viscosity measurements reveal that the range of the dope viscosity is between 61000cp~68000cp. From WAXD data, the regenerated cellulose fibers spun from NMMO solution gave the cellulose II crystalline unit cell. Dissolved ratio shows that 50/50(wt/wt) is higher and 70/30(wt/wt) is lower.
