Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽大學 === 營建工程系碩士班 === 87 === Both numerical analysis and field test have been performed to study the anchorage behavior of cone-shape anchors in sand. A sand model, SHSE, and FLAC software are used to carry out the numerical analysis. To emphasize the feasibility of the numerical method, this research uses the results of field tests to verify the results of numerical analyses. Based on the results of numerical analysis and field test, a series of evaluative equations are developed for load-displacement relation of cone-shape anchors.
It was found that there are not much discrepancy between the results of numerical analyses and the results of field tests. The pullout resistance increased with based diameter of anchors, free length and fixed length of anchors. As total length of anchor is less than 30M, the progressive yield was not evidence, so increasing fixed length is the best bet to increase anchorage capacity.
In order to reduce the time consumption for numerical study, the relationship between load and displacement are correlated with the relative density of sand, the free length, the fixed length, the based diameter of anchor. A simple program, Cone-Anchor, is then established. The program can significantly cut down the compute time. In addition, the anchor behavior predicted by this program is very closed to the field test.
Finally, a numerical study for inclined anchor was issued. It was found that the total pullout force and frictional force are very closed, the contribution of end resistance could be neglect. The anchorage capacity increased with inclination of anchor. The pullout force of inclined anchor will greater than vertical anchor, when inclination of anchor is equal to 40o.
