Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所 === 87 === Equipment maintenance has become more important as technical complexity and automation of equipment increases. This especially occurs in the high technology industry, such as semiconductor manufacturing industry. The issues of equipment maintenance include reliability and failure rate, maintenance models and maintenance policy, and maintenance scheduling. Among these issues, maintenance scheduling is the most complicated issue and is a critical factor the affects productivity most. However, it had not been received much attention both in the academic and practitioner in neither issue. Therefore, it is worthwhile to study the problems in this area.
For maintenance scheduling there exists very few solution or model thus far. Taking the semiconductor as an example, this research is focus on the modeling of maintenance scheduling by considering some key factors, such as number of maintenance worker, worker skill lever, failure type, dispatching rule, and preventive maintenance policy. The research also includes the study of the measures of maintenance effectiveness, the search for optimal maintenance scheduling, and the sensitive analysis of maintenance scheduling to the stated by measuring the effectiveness.
This research will development of maintenance scheduling system for the semiconductor industry to increase the maintenance effectiveness and thus to increase the productivity and competition.
