Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學工程學系 === 87 === The kinetics of the reaction of CO2 with diethanolamine (DEA) in aqueous solutions have been determined in laboratory by wetted-wall column over a wide range of concentrations of diethanolamine (DEA) (between 0.5 and 2.5 kmol×m-3) and range of temperatures (between 30 to 40 oC). The physical properties of the N2O in aqueous diethanolamine (DEA) and monoethanolamine (MEA) solutions such as solubility and diffusivity were also measured. Both the solubility and diffusivity of N2O in aqueous diethanolamine (DEA) and monoethanolamine(MEA) solutions greatly affect the derived reaction rate parameters. In literature, the value of solubility and diffusivity is derived in various ways and this way lead to discrepancies in the rate constant calculated from absorption experiments. We determined as a function of temperature and concentration from the resulted published in the open literature, and new data were measured in the present work. All observed phenomena can be explained very satisfactorily with the zwitterion mechanism proposed by Caplow (1968) and reintroduced by Danckwerts (1979). The results very well with Littel et al. (1992b) and Edward et al. (1996).
