Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 土木工程學系 === 87 === In recent years,The composite material developed early,It can made a perfect structure for its high strength。 But for a new composite material always have unknown character,so must compared with experimental results。 To develop a new failure criterion。 Before this thesis,there are many savants to study this side many years,and develop failure cirterion by themselves。 Include to find the maximum stress、the crack's growth and the damage zone 。 In this paper,the purpose is used the YEH-STRATTON failure criterion to study the damage zone,to divide into two sections : (1)isotropic ( Aluminum )(2)anisotropic ( Graphite∕Epoxy AS 3501 ),and use the complex form crack tip stress field function derived by SIH,et al﹒to instead of the real form crack tip stress field function modified by T﹒P﹒PHILLPPIDIS。 The complex form crack tip stress field function is more complex and accurate。 The result that dirved by YEH-STRATTON failure criterion to compare with the other criterion: ( Hill、T、Tsai-Wu、Fischer、Hoffman)has a better than theirs。
