| Summary: | 碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 犯罪防治研究所 === 87 === Among all kinds of sexual assaults, the family incest is far beyond our endurance and also far beneath the humanity. During the past few years, people in Taiwan have been not uncommon to hear the incest case of father-daughter rape or mother-son rape happening one after another. The absorbing report from the mass media always makes many families unease and attracts scholars' attention.
In addition, the technique of the criminal profiling is recently getting more and more concern. Most important of all, it has successfully been used to investigate the serial murder, arson and sexual crime. Therefore, this essay is expecting to testify the technique of the criminal profiling and also trying to profile the father-daughter incest offender.
In Taiwan, hardly can we find an essay or an article about the incest. We also have not much knowledge about the incest offender. Because of these reasons, this essay takes a qualitative approach interviewing fifteen inmates in Taipei Prison, The main findings of this study are divided into several parts as follows: basic information (background), original (parental) family, social adjustment, making friends, sexual related experience, inmate's family, the pressure before committing the incest, the circumstance when the incest happening, the truth of the incest, to uncover the incest event ,and the personality of the incest offender, etc.
