Ever sine industry revolution, it serves as the most important tool demonstrating a workpiece. Along with the advancement of computer technology, the engineering drawing has evolved to computer-aided drawing from traditional handicraft. However, even with the assistance of computer, the blueprints are still expressed using two dimensional views, which can not illustrate a real 3D object. Therefore, perspective graphs are frequently needed hindering the product design performance. This study intends to develop an automatic transformation system from 2D drawings to 3D objects by constructing a knowledge system to enhance product design efficiency.
