The main features of this system are to build up a physical object model through the thin wire extrusion and processed layer by layer. User can use this system to turn CAD (Computer Aided Design) model into physical object model. The process begins with the design of a conceptual geometric CAD model of an object. The CAD model is saved as STL format. The cross sectional STL format data is slicing by the Slicing Process. The Support Generation Process creates support part which the physical model requires. The Tool Path Generation Process create the RP machine tool path and the data is interfered to the rapid prototyping machine system. The machine has three axes working table and move relative to each other along “X”, “Y”, and “Z” axes in predetermined pattern to create three-dimensional model by extruding ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrenes) pellet from the thermal extrusion head and build up model layer by layer. We also combined tele-control and Rapid Prototyping Machine via Internet for the application.
