Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 電資與資訊工程研究所 === 86 === In this thesis, we propose an Integrated Mobile Connection Tree (IMCT), based on the Virtual Connection Tree, to support inter-switch reliable and real-time handoff service. In order to provide inter-switch handoff service, a set of naming and location mapping methods is designed to enable adjacent cells finding for handoff channel reservation.
This thesis also proposes a set of admission control method to efficiently manage the use of bandwidth. The method allow the system to provide a different levels of quality of service (QoS) for different types of services. Finally, the analytical model and computer simulation are developed for the proposed admission control method. The results show that those admission control methods can not only provide better Handoff Guarantee for reliable service users, but also allow greater throughput for real-time service.
