碩士 === 元智大學 === 電資與資訊工程研究所 === 86 === The desire and anxiety for up-to-date data result in the requirement for effective information as a basis in making further actions。Owing to the rapid development of information technology and the proliferation of Internet，constructing a boardless virtual world is the dream of human beings。In the construction of the virtual world，people is trying hard to put datum in the reality on the net momently whereas new data in generated continuously。In other words，a huge amount of data is cumulative on the entire net resulting in the explosion of databases。The most frequent question in the multi-category information world is how to find the desired information using the most convenient and effective method。In order to satisfy the desire for new information，various category of information servers are increased rapidly。This thesis proposed a well-designed information server on the web。The server can categorizes，manages and stores documents according to the topics; intelligent agent service technology is used in achieving the user-needed information.
