The temperature , absolute humidity distributions and the thermal performance are calculated by a numerical finite difference method. Not only the effect of the longitudinal conduction , but also those of the circumferential and radial conductions are considered inthis rotary heat exchanger.The results show that while the longitudinal heat conduction always strongly reducesthe effectiveness of the exchanger , and the circumferential and radial conductions decreases a little , but increases those for particular andrelatively high values of the conduction parameter. Radial conduction effect influences less on theperformance of the exchanger.
