The receiving performance of power line signalsis directly related to the power line noise and the attenuationof power line signals. In this thesis, the two methods for improving the receivingperformance of power line signals are illustrated. Choosing a proper correlation coefficient of the matched transversal filterand increasing the magnitude of the transmitted chirps are proposed.Besides, the CEBus protocol, the encoding and decoding methods of power line signal are discussed.
