Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 日本研究所 === 86 === Lifetime employment system in Japan plays a crucial and positive role in the history of management, especially in the stability of employment and winning an extremely high evaluation from employment and employee. However, influenced by some factors, such as two times of oil shock, bubble economy, the appreciation of Yen and Big-Bang, Japanese economy has undergone a period of slow growth ever since them, and enterprises also gradually contract the organization, administrate employment adjustment and reduce employees. As a result, this thesis mainly probes into areformation of employment after the disintegration of bubble economy and the employment style since now.
Chapter Two focuses on the explanation of the thesis of the thesis of the lifetime employment system, which historically originates from three sources. One is the house and village system of "Edo" generation, "Samurai" system of "Bakushu", and business system of "Edo" generation; another was established during Miji generation and the Second World War; the other is formed after the War.
Chapter Three aims at the analysis of the factors influencing the trend of employment system, including the change of the construction of labor market of the industrial construction and of labor consciousness.
Chapter Four is the adjustment of employment for competitive economy at present and the survival of enterprise, probing into the strategies and states of the adjustment of lifetime employment system.
Chapter Five points to the arrangement and analysis of the lifetime employment system. From the statements in the chapters above, we can realize that the lifetime employment system has encountered a crisis ever since them, and instead of "Lifetime Employment System" we call it as a "Long-term Employment System".
