Here are the findings of the present study: A. Quantity: Under the Division of period, industrial structure, ownership, and region, analyze that TVEs recruit labor in quantity: a. Period. TVEs early being labor-intensive tend to be gradually capital-intensive. It makes TVEs reduce to recruit labor in quantity and increase to recruit labor in quality. b. Industrial structure. Because of lower urbanizing level, and TVEs' layout scatter, development of the third industry of TVEs is limited. The secondary industry tends to be more capital and technology incentive and recruits less labor than the third industry. c. Ownership. Township enterprises and village enterprises are more capital incentive than private enterprises. No matter what kinds of enterprise are, all of them tend to be capital incentive little by little. d. Region. TVEs in any region in China tend to reduce to recruit labor in quantity. But TVEs' ability to recruit labor in the middle and west region is higher than in the east region. B. Quality: Under the division of recruiting technical labor and labor quality improvement, analyze that TVEs recruit labor in quality: a. By means of the upgrad of technology and training of employees, TVEs increase power of market competition and recruit much labor of high technology and quality by degrees. b. Because of the difference of product and technology level, TVEs in each region have different demand for labor in quality. Kuo, Jiann-Jong 郭建中 1998 學位論文 ; thesis 113 zh-TW
