Yet there is no programming environment that utilizes the complete power of window-interface in programming so that a programmer still have to key-in source programs by keyboard. FORTH language provides an interactive programming environment, which tightly combines all the coding, compiling, testing, and debugging phases. A user can work in an environment with on-line incremental programming/compiling to speed-up their software development. Furthermore, the interactive feature of FORTH is especially suited to the window interface. The TKU Forth (abbreviated as TkF) is presented in this thesis, which combines the window-interface and enforced FORTH syntax, and provides a convenient environment to achieve more efficient productivity via window styleoperations.
