Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 建築學系研究所 === 86 === The objective of this study tries to attach a revolutionary
discourse to the con
struction of three-dimensional models different from the commonly used logic m
ethod of plan study in architecture design. A model can be viewed as a microc
osm reflecting the phenomena of the reality. By operating the models, I wish
to re-examine the habitual logic of space design, and to explore the possible
preferences for the conception of space in my sub-consciousness as well as a n
ew application in space design. From which I also wish to re-evaluate the con
ventional method of plan study and its logic in order to discover a new repres
entation of space in architecture. There are two main parts in this study. The
first part is a theme-and-object based operation study. It serves as a metho
d of discovering the major points in the process of forming and sampling the o
bject. The discussed subject can be confirmed during the preliminary process
of exploration and discovery. The second part is the representation of variou
s models in operation in the related field, reinforcing and supporting the mai
n discourse in space design with cross-reference of the major sources in the s
phere. Here, I conclude with the following points from the study of the tripl
e faces of space in architecture: the ideas of perforating, infiltrating and p
enetrating. 1. The implied meaning of perforatingclear and lively/ break throu

arFinally, works of design will be shown to reinforce the conclusion of the pr
evious detailed study in various object-based themes and subjects, applying to
proper places as well as evaluating and integrating with the roles and differ
entiation of the triple faces of space design in architecture.
