urpose of this study is to conducta needs assessment regarding to in-service e
duucation for elementary teachers.Data was collected from members of focus gro
upwhich include elementary teachers,administrators,supervisors,instruction men
tors,and educators.The resultsshowed that there was significant difference amo
ngthe different sample groupsregarding to in-service education needs. The stud
ysuggests that a systematic in-service education curricular planning following
the needs assessment should be conducted in order to enhance the professional
development of elementary teachers.
