Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 政治研究所 === 86 === As am important architect in the initative period after Taiwan''s retrocession from Japanese occupied, Lu Yuh-chun is one od the early pioneers who introduced Modern Architecture to China. Im procession pursuing the blend and transformation of Eastern and Western architecture, Lu completed some main works in Chinese revival style, and therefore was regarded as a revivalist. Up to now, seem the remarks to Lu''s works have become formulated viewpoint and evaluation. This thesis is tried in different perspective to recomprehend the form and connotation in Lu''s works. It wouldn''t like to be a perfect retrospection in a certain theory theory or paradigm, but contrary tried to seek the possibility of other meaning by researching in different dimections. The major contents of this thesis were listed were listed as the following five chapters. Chapter1:Introduction. Chapter2:The Brief Biography and Study of Lu''s Viewpoint of Architecture-A brief introduction to the stages of Lu''s career, and try to represent his opinion and advocacy of architecture from Lu''s own comprehension. Chapter3:Case Study1:The Geometrical Form and Organic Whole-By discovering the different phases of Sience Education Centre to analyze how Lu integrated the boardly defined "function" in the geomrtrical form with Lu''s concept of organism. Chapter4:Case Study 2:Ming-Tang and the National Shema-In the case of Chinese Culture University, besides the conventional space analyses, by discussing the meaning and space order of Ming-Tang and form theviewpoint of the "schema" of spatial congnition, to present Lu''s particularity among those pursuers of chinese traditional architecture spirit.
