In other words, the nonprofit advocacy is distincitively committed to the "public interest" de fined in terms of noneconomic, collective or indivisible interests that haveth e general public as their intended beneficiary. This dissertation provi des a brief overview of nonprofit organizations and policy advocacy that outli nes the rationale and approaches of nonprofit advocacy and introduces a concep tual framework for understanding better the discursive attributes of policy ad voccacy of women groups in Taiwan.
