The condensation reaction of pyrimidine intermediates with aromatic aldehyde 、p-methoxycinnamaldehyde and 1,3,3-trimethyl-2-methylene indoline led to obtain three series of mono、di- and poly-methine pyrimidine disperse dyes, respectively. The structure of the dyes was confirmed by E.A,IR,MS and 1H- NMR spectral analysis. The pyrimidine dyes were applied to dyeing on polyester fabrics and shown yellow to red hues. The sublimation fastness and lightfastness of dyes on polyester fabrics were shown in the range among 2~5grade and 3~8 grade, respectively. The photofading rate of dyes on polyester fabrics shown I、II and III order ,respectively. Wang Ying Jing 王英靖 1998 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
