Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程技術學系 === 86 === In normal strength concrete (NSC), bond stress distribution is uniform. This hypothesis had been verified and used. But in high strength concrete (HSC), different standpoints of views on this hypothesis existed. Therefore, this study focuses the bond stress distribution along the splice length in the high strength concrete. The test variables included the compressive strength of concrete , the splice length , and the index of stirrup confinement Ktr. Twelve beam specimens were test. Eight of them used high strength concrete and the other used normal strength concrete. Test results show that the distribution of splice bond stress of deformed bars is uniform, despite of the normal strength concrete or high strength concrete, long or short splice length, high or low stirrup confinement over splice region. Test results also show that some minimum amount of transverse reinforcement over the splice regions can increase the splice bond capacity.
