The coding scheme divided job accommodation into thefollowing six categories.(1) Job assignment(2) Job evaluation and training(3) Access facility and environment (4) Computer-related job aids(5) Ergonomic redesign(6) Social and organizational factors Each category were subdivided into several subcategoriesto designate the specific tools and techniques for jobaccommodation. The hierarchical coding scheme can beutilized by the vocational counselors and employers to lookfor feasible job assignments and redesigns of the workplacefor handicapped workers.
