The successful business performance of therising semiconductor industry in Taiwan can be partly attributed to theimplement of JIT production system. In this study, we will use the Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)approach to evaluate the business performance results of the semiconductor companies. We use the JIT production strategies as the input variables and the financial results of each company as the output variables. We compareand analyze the important effects on the level of implementing JIT production system in each company. In addition, DEA approach can provide the important information of whether the company having the advantage of economic of scale.
