Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程技術研究所 === 86 === The evolution of dynamic flow structure on the suction surface of an impulsively-started wing was studied experi-mentally. A NACA 0012 wing model was placed in a towing tank and a particle image velocimeter was employed to detect the velocity field of the time-space evolving vortices. The results showed forur typical evolution processes within different regimes of free-stream velocity/angle of attack domain. The transient phenomena was complicated and consisted of starting vortices at edges of wing model, reverse flow from trailing edge, vortices on suction surface, and alley on trailing edge. The evolution process, vorticity field, path and speed of vortices, etc, were studied and discussed.
