碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 造船及海洋工程學研究所 === 86 === 　　The problem of scattering of a spherical acoustic wave by an elastic infinite circular shell is studied. In a cylindrical coordinate system, the mathematical form of a spherical wave is closely related to that of a plane wave. The spherical wave is expanded into a series of oblique plane waves by Weyrich's formula and the addition theorem. When the solution of an oblique plane wave incident a cylindrical shell is solved, an exact solution to the present problem can be directly formulated by using the solution for plane-wave incidence.
