We use a CCD camera and an selected lens, capture the image of form grinding wheel edge and transfe the analog signal to digital signal via a frame grabber. With the use of edge detection technology, we can search the image edge of form grinding wheel. The "mapping function" is used to transfer image pixel coordinate to real metric coordinate. The captured image possesses error lower than 5 □m.   We use Rough Blending Method(Correlation Method) and Fine Blending Method (Optimization Method) to combine several images to one frame.
