Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學系研究所 === 86 === Computer assisted instruction has been used to facilitateboth the teachers an d students. Recently, the rapid emergenceof World Wide Web (WWW) and its assoc iated tools have providededucators with an opportunity to incorporate this tec hnologyinto their courses. The undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineerin g Department utilize electronic instruments ormechanical instruments frequentl y. They learn how to use thoseinstruments mostly by teacher's oral teaching an d demonstration, and these teaching works are almost the same. In this thesis,w e develop a computer-aided instruction (CAI) system consistingof four modules: information module, instrument module, examinationmodule, and FAQ module. The se four modules are arranged to construct a CAI system for electronic instrume nts, and this system is used to teach students how to use oscilloscopes, funct iongenerators, and logic analyzers. This CAI system is presented bya set of le arning procedures: studying the instrument's knowledgeby the information modul e; practicing simulated instrument (if any)by the instrument module, taking ex aminations by the examinationmodule, and posting questions or reading FAQs (Fr equently AskedQuestions) by the FAQ module.
