Thus, it happens repeatedly that enterprises suffering considerable losses due to they encounter political risks. For instance, the unsuccessful investment of Bayer in Taiwan and the riot that happened in Indo nesia recently are all typical examples of political risks. According to these examples, this thesis will study the political risks of Taiwanese companies'' i nvestment in Vietnam. This thesis divided political risks into three parts to proceed empirical research. The first part is to discuss the origin of polit ical risks in Vietnam. This thesis used factor analysis to reduce the quantit y of variables and then proceed empirical research. The second part is the ev aluation mechanism of political risk. The third part is the reaction strategy of political risk. Thus, this thesis established the following hypothesizes and check whether they are accepted or not. Hypothesis 1: The characters of different enterprises will not affect the recognition of political risks. Hyp othesis 2: To proceed the evaluation of political risks or not will affect th e recognition of political risks or not. Hypothesis 3: The characters of dif ferent enterprises will affect the evaluation mechanism of political risk. Hy pothesis 4: To proceed the evaluation of political risks or not will affect t he investing performance. Hypothesis 5: The reaction strategy after investme nt are affected by the characters of different enterprises. Hypothesis 6: To proceed the evaluation of political risks or not will affect the reaction str ategies after investment. Hypothesis 7: The political risks that enterprises encounter are affected by the amount of investment. Hypothesis 8: The degre e of political risks are affected by different industries. The results of thi s thesis reveal that Hypothesis 1, 3, 7 and 8 are rejected, however, hypothesi s 2, 4, 5 and 6 are accepted. Wea Chi-Lin 唐富藏 --- 1998 學位論文 ; thesis 111 zh-TW
