Summary:碩士 === 國立海洋大學 === 電機工程學系 === 86 === This thesis is concerned with the electromagnetic analysis of the inductionmotor by the finite element method. Based on the field medium property,and theMaxwell theory,the electromagnetic govering equations are derived. Usingthe method of weighted residuals,the governing equations are then transformedand discretized into a set of simultaneous linear equations with a sparseand symmetric matrix of coefficients. These linear equations are to be solvedwiht boundary conditions for finding the vector magnetic potential whichcan be further processed to obtain specific parameters.A finite element method based software tool is employed for assisting theelectromagnetic analysis of the induction motor. The magnetic flux distributions under various operating conditions are thus observed and investigated in detail to explore the performance of the machine.
