This main purpose of this thesis is to study the load-shedding scheme forcogeneration systtems by performing system load-shedding scheme employs the underfrequency relay for limiting system overload as well as the overcurrent relay for tripping the tie- line between the cogeneration plant and the utilitysystem are demonstrated to verify the validity of the proposed load- shedding scheme.
