Under different pore media and basic properties , the soil would have different properties .In most of the cyclic triaxial test , tap water is adopted as the pore media . In this paper , tap water and acidic water with different pH values are adopted as pore media . Cyclic traxial tests are conducted to discuss the influence of acidic pore media on dynamic properties of soil . In the low confining pressure condition , the soil dynamic strength with tap water as pore media is greater , compare to those acidic and alkaline water as pore media .
