Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 化學學系 === 86 === Nowdays the science instruction of junior high school is faced with problems concerning inadequate experimental facilities and discrepancy between the content of teaching materials and real life experiences. The two problems lead directly to unfulfillment of teaching goals and low achievements in students'' learning. Accordingly, finding a way to improve what is mentioned above is undoubtedly a crucial issue in science instruction of high school. In the late 80s, some scholars, including Collins, Brown, and Duguid, put forth the theory of situated instruction. And Collins proclaimed that computer was significant in making situated instruction popular. After studying much of the theory, the researcher began to regard CAI as a practical solution to the problems in high school science instruction. However it seemed that traditional CAI failed to meet users needs and as a result, MMCAI (Multimedia Computer-assisted lnstruction)took its place as a new trend. A suitable MMCAI can help solve the problems. But how can we develop a workable MMCAI software which meets both teachers'' and students'' demands? On the basis of action research, the researcher made use of softwares like WORD97 and Visual Basic5.0. Together with the help of hardwares like motion video capture card and scanner. The researcher succeeded in producing a hypermedia system-MMCAI software. By exploring advantages and disadvantage the applications of MMCAI softwares in teaching. The researcher hopes to present an easy access to the production of MMCAI softwares for teachers of junior high school and meanwhile, to enhance the quality of science instruction.
