Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 應用數學研究所 === 86 === Motz problem is the prototype of homogeneous elliptic boundary value problem with singularities. In this thesis, we use numerical and symbolic boundary approximation method to get probably the most accurate solution of Motz problem. Our computation is under the environment of computer algebra system, and highly uses the advantages of its symbolic integration and arbitrarily designed working digits. The global error of our solution reaches O(10^-73) accuracy, far beyond all the Motz solutions ever published.
