This is called "Information Systems(IS)Outsourcing". The merits of IS outsourcing include cost-reduction, less risk and etc. Hence it attracts managers'' concerns. However, managers always ignore the impact of IS outsourcing on IS employees. This is a complicated issue for organizations and IS managers to manage and inspire IS employees effectively. Therefore, the objective of this research is to discuss the effects of three factors, characteristics of organisation, strategic orientation and, characteristics of IS department, on IS employees after IS outsourcing occurs. The questionnaire survey method is used to collect data. The questionnaire is divided into two parts for IS managers and IS employees to answer. After the data is analysed, the results are as below: 1.For the three factors mentioned above which are divided into sixteen sub-factors, the order for IS outsourcing impacts on IS employees is as follows:"the positions of IS managers" > "outsourcing plans for the employees" > "the ages of IS managers" = "the budgets of IS department" > "strategic orientation" = "communication with employees before and after outsourcing". 2.For the seven factors from IS employees'' viewpoint, the order for IS outsourcing impacts on IS employees is as follows: "adaptability" = "the whole satisfaction" = "job" = "the planning of career life"> "pressure"> "career safety"= ability". 3.If the corporations planned well before outsourcing, IS employees would have better adaptability, satisfaction and planning of career life.
