Few requlations and researches discuss the mixture of tile adhesives. In the study, there are three most frequently used materials of the adhesives. They are cellulose ether, cement and water. The site methods are used to manufacture the adhesives of the different mixtures to perform the bond strength test. By comparing the results of the bond strength test, we could determine the range of the best mixture, and then it could apply for the reference of the site mixture. From the results of this present thesis. We have the best bond strength and the better wor kability when the mixture is water : cement : cellulose ether = 70:180:1. Bond strength and workability is bad when the water to cement ratio is smaller than 0.35 since the open time is too short.keywords : tile emgineering, adhesive,mixture design, cellulose ether,bond strength, open time.
