Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防醫學院 === 藥學類 === 86 === Three known sesquiterpenes, atractylenolide I (Ka), atractylenolide II (K1), biatractylolide (Ka-1), phytosterols (b-sitosterol, stigmasterol, and campesterol ) (Kc), and three new sesquiterpenes, atractylenolide V (K1-1), atractylenolide VI (K1a), atractylenolide VII (K4a), were isolated from Baizhu ( rhizome of Atractylodes macrocephala). The atractylenolide VI (K1a) is artifact due to the dehydration of atractylenolide VI-b (K1b) with tertiary alcohol . Their structures have been established on the basis of spectral evidences. In the screening test in S.D. rats, non-polar fraction of Baizhu extract has been shown to exhibit significant diuretic effect. Of the isolated compounds, three major components, atractylenolide I (Ka), atractylenolide II (K1), and biatractylolide (Ka-1) did not exhibit diuretic effect.
