| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 自然資源管理研究所 === 86 === The Green Turtle of Wang-An Island has been well known for a while; thebiological anvestigation has been going on for years. However, many management problems appear recently, for example the local residents' misunderstanding toward conservation area, toward resrarch works, and the influence and impact of the tourists who are attratced to Pong-Hu by the reputation of the Green Turtle...etc. These problems are due to not knowing sufficently or correctly about the Green Turtle. Therefore, the theme of this research hopes to understand the cognitionof local residents, junior students and tourists toward the Green Turtle conservation,the needs to promote furture environmental education, also to discuss whether resrarchsamples from different background conditions have different cognition and needs.This research hope to offer reference information to the conservation area management in order to aim the drawing direction both at the Green Turtle conservation and also meeting the needs of people's to know demands. The research divides into five chapters. First, the preface is the summary outline focusing on the research origin purpose, content and process. Second isthe collection of past related documents about Green Turtle conservation projects, for example, the recent problems conservationarea meet, foreign experiences and enviornment education projects especially on cognition. Third, the practical research including theunderstanding of research ranges,objects,the building of research frameworks and hypotheses,the sureness of research methods and practical application of information analysis.The forth chapter is the result analysis and discussion. It arranges the descriptionanalysis result and the examination of research hypotheses in the method of statistics analysis. The last chapter offers the conclusion, suggestion and futuredirection according to this research result.
