碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 商業教育學系 === 86 === Why a enterprise can''t obtain anticipant reward in investing information technology, because it doesn''t uses information technology by the view of organization, management, process. According to native and foreign reports, the benefits of the intranet are more than many information systems. This research chooses HP and Institute for Information Industry (III) as cases to investigate the influences on business process after using intranet. We analyze the transfer of process and organization after using intranet. We divide intranet usages into unidirectional, two direction and decision support. Unidirectional includes information bulletin and information sharing, two direction usage includes communication and coordination. This research mostly discusses the influences on intranet to business process, such as increasing process productivity, accelerating process speed, compressing process depth, supporting decision process, enhancing decision quality, bringing up process value-added. The critical success factors in building intranet are high level executives'' support, business network infrastructure, process integration project, the ability of development and maintenance, usage frequency and security. Besides, the enterprise must be take baggage and the ability of development into account in building intranet or outsourcing intranet. From two cases'' experiences, the intranet was mostly used in information sharing, enterprises must integrate business process and organization to make the utmost of intranet.
