| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 86 === The development of physical education primarily depends on the advocates of well-established government agents. However, the scope of physical education development was restrained was due to the political turmoil during China''''s civil war. After ROC government''''s movement to Taiwan, there had been no officially responsible agent to be in charge of physical education development. After years of planning, Bureau of Physical Education was established in 1973. After years of promotion, physical education has developed varied and complicated relationship with other government agents. Right now, Bureau of Physical Education can not manage the interacted business any longer and Physical Education Committee of Executive Yuban was established.
This thesis includes the following suggestion and concluding remarks. First, while the main reason might be the long-time lack of government regulation agency of the physical education, the foreign affair difficulty of Taiwan ROC might be another major factor to speed up the establishment of Bureau of Physical Education. Second, central education system should reform in accordance with changing environment. Finally, Bureau of Physical Education has tremendous contribution in regulatory policy and plan. However, it is quite necessary to track result after implementation and has in-depth understanding for further research.
