Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 86 === The cross-space characteristics of distance computer-assisted learning (CAL) system create more effective learning for students. But there still exits some problems on designing CAL system. In addition to the difficulty of programming, the behavior module of students on computer network is an important issue to solve. By observing students'' behaviors in the classroom, a teacher can adjust the strategy of tutoring to enhance the students'' learning performance. However, in a Network-Based Computer assisted learning environment, it is hard to know students'' behaviors and attitude; therefore, if a student is lack of concentration, willingness or patience, the system will not be able to sense. Moreover, the system will not be aware even when the student is absent, which implies the resolution of these problems being impossible. In this paper, we propose a method to diagnose students'' behaviors on computer networks. Using this method, we can detect students'' learning behaviors and attitude to help the student to learn better. We analyze students'' communication contents and the tutoring process of browsing subject materials. A diagnostic system of learning behaviors in Internet environment is implemented, which can diagnose the learning behavior of students, such as the degree of concentration, learning willingness, patience, idle time, chatting and the learning effect. We design the dynamic subject materials on computer network, which include the formal material, assisted material and remedial material to match the tutoring system.
