Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 環境醫學研究所 === 86 === Cumulative trauma disorders are chronic muscle, tendon, and
nerverelated diseases that are caused, predipitated, or
aggravated byrepeated or sustained exertion of the extremities
and trunk. These disorders can occur anywhere in the body,
include myalgia, tendinitis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and
low back pain.Complaints of musculoskeletal discomforts
especialy the cumulativetrauma disorders is the most common
problem among electronicworkers. The purpose of this study is to
identify the prevalence, typesand risk factors of
musculoskeletal discomfrots in electronic workers.Adapted
surveillance questionnaire, job-psychological inventory and
clinical examination to evalute the prevalence of cumumative
traumadisorders first, then used the baseline risk
identification ofergonomic factors checklist and video recording
to identify the risk factors in diffirent humans' portions and
work types in fieldstudy. 6 electronic factories from Chia-
nan area in Taiwan was randomlyselected in this study, shall
calculate teh different prevalence rateand odd ratio between
exposure and control groups. The results show high prevalence of
discomforts on neck, shoulder and hand-wrist. The precise
fabrocation group also shows high musculo-skeletal sidcomforts
on upper extremity and trunk and some static, sedentary,
repetitive motions on work site are the major risk factorsof
musculo-skeletal discomforts. The final objective to study is to
point out the ost severe task and its relative risk factors
andsuggest the improvable strategy from the view points of
ergonomic &preventive medicine.
