This program has two functions (1) rating problem and (2) sizing problem.The software for closed cooling tower has two functions:(1) Rating problem : User inputs the flow rate and inlet temperature of hot side, the flow rate and inlet temperature of spray cooling water, inlet temperature and relative humidity of air side and the size of cooling tower, the program can predict the outlet temperature of the hot side cooling tower, outlet temperature, relative humidity and pressure drop of air side, and outlet temperature of spray cooling tower.(2) Sizing problem : User inputs the flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures of hot side, the inlet temperature and relative humidity of air side, the program can determine the cooling tower necessary heat transfer area, the flow rate, outlet temperature of spray cooling water and the required air flow rate. The software for oil-water cooler brazed plate heat exchanger also has two functions :(1) Rating problem : Users inputs the size of oil-water cooler, the flow rates and inlet temperatures of oil and water sides, the program can predict the outlet temperatures and pressure drops of oil and water sides.(2) Sizing problem : Users inputs the flow rates of oil and water sides, inlet and outlet temperatures of oil side, and the size of oil-water cooler, the program can determine the heat transfer area, overall heat transfer coefficient, pressure drops and heat capacity of oil-water cooler.
