Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系 === 86 === In modern microwave communication system, especially in satellite and mobile communications, we always require numerous narrow band and high performance (low insertion loss, high selectivity, linear phase) filters for such functions as picket selection, preselection of a receiver front end, and suppression of mixer spurious products. Because of numerously using, it makes filter size, weight, and cost important considerations in the design of RF subsystem. In this thesis, we use cross- coupled mechanism to design a planar microwave filter which has better performance and smaller size. The theory has been verified by experiments. And the result have been summarized as design guide rules which could be followed for similar work in the future. Finally, several cross-coupled planar microwave filters have been designed to discuss the effect of the loss tangent of different substrate materials which have been used to construct these filters. A cross-coupled planar filter using hairpin line resonators has also been designed to show the method to design the desire coupling coefficient between resonators.
