This method in the paper takes advantage of both analyticaland finite difference methods. The analytical solution can be easily appilied to a problem of regulargeometry and simple boundary condition with homogenous heat source and thermalconductivity. The paper is desirable to obtain a smaller computer memory and accurate solutions. This method is verified by caluating the transient and steady heat transfer for a rectangular heat source and a circular heat sourceon square plate, respectively. Besides, three heat sources on a convex plate is investigated. The results are compared in table with exact solutions and finite difference solution. The entire physical domain is split into subdomains, andeach of which can be treated independently as a 'primary zone' whose descriptionwill include a term or terms relevant to the type of plane source. The rest ofthe entire domain, other than the primary zones, can be approximated by a smaller number of elements. This may be referred as 'secondary zone'. 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 造船工程學系 === 86 === This paper calcuates the temperature distribution finite
domain by folowingthe conservation law techniques and utilizing
the balance of heat flux acrosssource interface. This method in
the paper takes advantage of both analyticaland finite
difference methods. The analytical solution can be easily
appilied to a problem of regulargeometry and simple boundary
condition with homogenous heat source and thermalconductivity.
The paper is desirable to obtain a smaller computer memory and
accurate solutions. This method is verified by caluating the
transient and steady heat transfer for a rectangular heat source
and a circular heat sourceon square plate, respectively.
Besides, three heat sources on a convex plate is investigated.
The results are compared in table with exact solutions and
finite difference solution. The entire physical domain is split
into subdomains, andeach of which can be treated independently
as a 'primary zone' whose descriptionwill include a term or
terms relevant to the type of plane source. The rest ofthe
entire domain, other than the primary zones, can be approximated
by a smaller number of elements. This may be referred as
'secondary zone'.
