When Al70Pd22.5(Re0.7Fe0.3)7.5 samples with the resistivity ratio r=ρ(4.2k)/ρ(300k) are greater than 18,their magnetocondunces at low field are positive and their conductivities below about 13K can be analyzed with the following relation : ,where the second term follows Mott's VRH law .This indicates that the samples with r >18 have been in the insulating state.About above 600K,the conductivity of Al70Pd22.5 Re7.5 QCs is found to connect with thermal excitation carriers.
