Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 森林學系 === 86 === Recreation resources of forest tourism include forest production activities, forest products, farmland and farmhouse etc. According to the development of forest recreation, agriculture tourism and forest tourism in Taiwan. Forest tourism can be classified by 4 types. A questionnaire design was conducted to measure the respondents'' preference of forest tourism. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, one-way analysis of variance and T-test were used in the test of hypothesis and analysis. Based on the findings, the major conclusion can be drawn as follows: (1) The preference of different forest tourism sites was ranked between degree 4 and 5. (2) The preference of different forest tourism activities was ranked between degree 3 and 4. (3) The preference of 9 forest tourism activities was reduced to 3 factors: "product and knowledge experience activity", "physical and skill experience activity", "hostelresidential experience activity". (4) The socio-economic background of respondents with different characteristics had similar perceptions and preference on forest tourism. (5) 96.1% respondents consider that forest tourism area is necessary to provide more recreation activities because of the rapidly development of recreation demand. On the basis of the results of this study, forest tourism and its law could be approval and considerable, so that forest tourism could have a lawful state to introduce correct and reasonable management, and that will benefit both the tourists and managers.
