Summary: | 碩士 === 高雄醫學院 === 藥學研究所 === 86 === The octa- and tetra-substituted tetra-2,3-[5,6-(9,10-
phenanthro)pyrazino]- porphyrazinino copper(II) complexes
(AzaPhc) have been prepared via complexa-tion of mono-
substituted 5,6-(9,10-phenanthro)-2,3-dicyanopyrazines with
copper(I) chloride. The nonlinear optical refractive and
absorptive propertiesof them have been studied by the Z-scan
measurements at 532 nm. For the octa- substituted AzaPhcs (4a-
d), we found that their effective nonlinear refractiveindices n2
(ranged from -4.5x10^-10 to -7.5x10^-10 esu) are about two to
three times larger than the Pc complexe, (C5H11O)8PcCu studied
here, while their trip-let excited-state absorption cross
section sT (ranged from 2.9x10^-18 to 5.3x10^-18 cm2) are very
closed to (C5H11O)8PcCu. For the tetra-substituted AzaPhcs (8a-
b, and 11a-b), their n2 values (ranged from -1.7x10^-10 to
-3.6x10^-10 esu) are veryclosed to the Pc complexe, but their
magnitudes of sT (ranged 0.33x10^-18 to 0.87x10^-18 cm2), are
about five to fifteen times smaller than the Pc complexe.
Theone photon excited state absorptive processes such as Sn(v)--
S1(v=0) and Tn(v)--T1(v=0) have been applied to interpret these
experimental results tentatively.
