The main result of the research indicates that the response to thephysician''s suggestion was that they didn''t realize what bone marrowtransplant is and suspected the therapy and its side effect in pre-transplant stage. The factors of the patient''s decision to accept bonemarrow transplantation factors were the success percentage, family''sapproval, the encouragement of physician and medical fees. Patientsreported that the physical statement were vomiting, mouth ulcer,diarrhea and no appetite .The isolation experience in germ-free period,patients experienced the feeling of giving up and the negative feeling ofthe end of life .At the same time, they also searched for positiveadjustment to receive challenges. In social status, patients were isolatedso the communication of the medical staff became more important.Family members were their spiritual support. At the initial stage ofdischarge, patients stated that they experienced fatigue, dyspnea, rashes,no appetite and energy. After 2 years, patients felt happy to pass the risk period. After 4 years, patients felt as a normal person. Patients decreased contact with others as to form a situation of social isolation. Five patients resumed their work and took part in the related bone marrow transplant volunteer work. In spiritual respect, they deeply experienced the essence of human existence, searched for the meaning of life and appreciated to life. The results of this research will be the basis of related researches in the future, moreover, the results will be valuable references for patients and their families in practice.
