The death of patient became a death of negotiation. For a doctor without much clinical experience, it may be terrible to talk with a dying patient. Junior doctor and medical student should accept information and training focus on facing death and dying patients. Thus this study provided 2 times of tests(including pre-test and post-test) to 7th degree of medical studenA survey of medical college 7th degree of medical student by intentional sampling established the foundation. With 112 effective samples returned at the pretest and total 77 sample completed the pretest and posttest simultaneously. The content of questionnaire included the demographic information, Death Anxiety Scale(DAS) score, internship practicing experience and coping strategies. This research tool passed the language validity, content validity by expert exam and its Cronbach alpha value was .93. By anaAccording this study, the researcher suggested someway of relieving the anxiety stress of junior intern when facing the death and dying patient. First, utilizing appropriated coping strategies not defense mechanism. Second, seeking for support of coworker, family and friend. Third, rationalized to explain the evidentability of death.
