| Summary: | 碩士 === 華梵大學 === 東方人文思想研究所 === 86 === The purpose of this thesis is to study the nature-oriented philosophy of Chinese landscape gardening as described in Yiian Ysh.
First of all, I introduce the book Ynan Yeh in detail, including the most important ideas about Chinese landscape gardening, author''s personal information and his achievement in the field of landscape gardening.
Secondly, I discuss the techniques of landscape gardening, "Yin" and "Chieh", as mentioned in Yuan Yeh. I not only elucidate the role they play in Chinese landscape gardening and their importance, but also study the dependable relations between these two significant techniques.
Thirdly, I study the nature-oriented philosophy in Chinese landscape gardening from the viewpoint of "Yin Chieh". The way Chinese landscape gardening arranged is very similar with the "Philosophy of Nature" of Taoism. Besides, people always can feel the practical implementation of the philosophical ideology of "Human Beings and Nature Become One " in landscape gardening, which is the very important undermeaning of Chinese landscape gardening.
At last, I take the famous Chocheng Garden as the example to analyze the nature-oriented philosophy in Chinese landscape gardening. I discuss the historical background and the overall internal arrangements in lhe garden. After that, I analyze the characteristics of every single scene and the metaphysical nature-oriented philosophy it stands for.
